Graduate student Adam Paxson has been awarded a 2014 MRS Silver Award for academic achievements and materials science research displaying a high level of excellence and distinction. Adam contributed to five talks during the 2013 MRS Fall meeting.

Sushant Anand, a postdoctoral researcher in Professor Kripa Varanasi’s Lab, has won the prestigious Branco Weiss Fellowship awarded by the Swiss Federal Institute of ETH Zurich. He is one of the nine new fellows to win this fellowship for 2013. (7/24/2013)
